However, if your work is accepted, we ask that you notify future publications (that accept your work) that your piece was first published in Apprentice Writer. If your work is first accepted elsewhere, we ask that you notify us so that we can determine if it would be more appropriate to exclude the piece from our publication or provide acknowledgement of first publisher in our publication of your work.
